Episode 32: House Speaker Rumble

For the first time in more than 150 years it took 15 rounds before ultimately the establishment candidate Kevin McCarthy took the seat after offering modest concessions to some of the 20 members of Congress who held back their support. Candidates like Jim Jorden to Byron Donalds to even former President Trump were offered-- all of whom supported Kevin McCarthy which demonstrated the clownish disarray of the opposition and in part explaining their ultimate defeat. President Joe Biden is up to his usual blubbering buffoonery, blundering his way through a multiple media appearances.
