Episode 12: Draft Opinion Leaked

In a tactical bid to divide Americans on a wedge issue nefarious forces leaked a Supreme Court draft opinion which would overturn the 50yr Roe V. Wade ruling. Leftists across the country erupted with outrage, decrying it as an assault on women's rights. (Especially ironic since they needed a biologist to determine what a woman is only weeks ago.) The abortion debate has been revived in full, and opinions are varied. My political thesis is Americans views are nuanced and the party which most forcefully pushes their views on this issue will receive the fiercest public backlash. This could have a big ripple effect in the midterm elections. The Indiana primary elections were held last week with exceptionally low turnout, although the big dollar Republican machine defeated two Conservative statehouse candidates new Conservatives were tapped in their primary elections, so not all is lost. Dave Chapelle was attacked on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in another signal of Americans dwindling civility to each other.
